We now offer a 10Mb connection to the internet via PogoZone's high speed wireless network.

With our new service your computer will be connected to the Internet 24 hours per day/every day. No more waiting while your modem dials to and connects with the Internet or E-mail service.

Our service, via PogoZones's Wireless system, consists of a dedicated link between the Crown Plaza building and PogoZones network which is housed at FiberCloud's state of the art facility. This wireless link is fully duplexed (sends and receives simultaneously on 2 different frequencies). The signal then travels via cable to our distribution Local Area Network (LAN) here on the 4^th Floor.

The wireless link utilizes an advanced type of technology known as Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum, which was originally developed by the U.S. Government for security purposes. A router is built into the Crown Plaza Executive Office Suites interface with PogoZone and provides ultimate security for our LAN traffic to and from the Internet. Only packets bound to and from the Internet ever get sent over the air, thus safe-guarding any local LAN traffic.

The wireless system uses microwave technology and is immune to the effects of rain, snow and fog. Typical circuit availability for the service is 99.999%, which is comparable to any wire or optical fiber system. The system is monitored on a 7 day a week x 24-hour basis. PogoZone's management operates a state-of-the-art monitoring system, fully alarmed and maintained by highly trained professional communications personnel on-call 24 hours per day. Traffic activity is automatically monitored and reported in 5-minute intervals.
